Welcome to the ijeannie Internet TV Station! My original TV station is the TikiCam TV station, but I have decided to slowly move the station to blogger. So, here we are!
What is the ijeannie TV Station?
Well, I've always wanted to run my own TV station. Haven't we all?
This is an internet TV Station I run, myself, on one of my computers. So far I have about 3 channels running and I will add more shows and more channels in the near future.
It features shows, videos, movies, and other things that I think would be great to "air".
How Do I Do It?
I've seen plenty of internet radio stations around, but not many Internet TV Stations. The TV Station idea pretty much runs on the same concept. So, if you have ever run your own Internet Raido Station, you can run your own Internet TV Station.
Let's go to the next step, Live Cams, which pretty much shows how the Internet TV Station works. Instead of showing a live feed, however, you just add your shows or videos. So, if you have ever run a live cam, you can run your own Internet TV Station, as well.
The software I use is Windows Media Encoder, which is free to download. It alows you to add you live cam, videos or other media files in the line-up to be played.
You also need a good imagination! Create your own Station promos!
Remember to open the right ports on your firewall too.

*10/24/2012 - Update on Making ijeannieTV Happen:
I currently am using Livestream which offers a "studio" set-up. Their studio runs pretty much as a virtual TV studio. Basically you upload your videos (or you can use a live camera feed) to the Library. Then you use the "Auto Pilot" feature to run whatever videos you wish to run.
I like this method much better because I don't have to use my own bandwidth to stream the videos. The streaming is done on Livestream's own servers.
There is an ad that pops up, one time, when you first view the station but the ad only runs for a few seconds and I have not seen it come up in the middle of my shows.
Other than the one time ad, I think this is one of the best TV station on-line services out there, for now.
